The rapid evolution of tall buildings has presented challenges that require systematic research and advancements. A major concern for structural designers in tall buildings is the influence of wind loads. Therefore, determining the geometry and corner configuration of a structure is crucial, considering both form and function to effectively address the effects of wind. The aerodynamic performance of a tall structure can experience significant enhancement through the implementation of various shape modifications. Following research conducts a comparative analysis of wind load, distribution of pressure and various coefficients on High Rise buildings with diverse taper ratio and corner configuration for angle of attack of wind between 0° to 90° at an interval of 15°. Computational fluid dynamics through ANSYS CFX employing the Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes k-ε model has been utilized to conduct a numerical analysis, aiming to replicate the flow conditions specified in IS: 875 (Part-III):2015. In each situation we analyze the pressure values, force values, moment values and drag and lift values, as part of the evaluation. To help visualize the changes resulting from the modifications, in construction we present the results visually.
